BLACKHAWKS SWEEP SHARKS TO ADVANCE TO THE STANLEY CUP FINAL

This afternoon in Chicago, the Blackhawks won 4-2 against the Sharks to complete a 4 game sweep to advance to the Stanley cup Final for the first time since 1992. "It's an honour to be going to the Stanley Cup. We beat a very good team over there. It wasn't easy. But we did it," Byfuglien (who scored 3 game winners in this series) said. Byfuglien is right. It wasn't easy especially in this game since the Hawks went down 2-0 (with goals by Couture and Marleau). But they came back with 4 unanswered goals by Seabrook,Bolland, Byfuglien and Versteeq. But the Hawks want to win the Cup for the first time since 1961. That's even a longer drought than the Maple Leafs have (which is 1967).

So what do they have to do to win the cup? They have to play exactly the way the played up until this point. Which is using there speed to attack, block shots and KEEP putting players in front of the net. The Stanley cup final has not been scheduled yet since the Habs and Flyers series is still going on. The Flyers have a 3-1 series lead going into game 5 on home ice. But the Habs have comeback before and I think they can do it again. Just ask Cammalleri.
"It's a familiar feeling for us," said Canadiens winger Michael Cammalleri. "We seem to play our best hockey in this situation. And here we go again."

Game 5 of the Habs and Flyers series is tomorrow night at 7:00 pm E.t on CBC, Versus and RDS.
